Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
Draft pending legal review. Provided in good faith; the definitive terms will be published after solicitor sign-off.
Note: this policy is a draft pending solicitor review. It describes our current, deliberately minimal use of browser storage in good faith.
1. The short version
InfraValue uses only the storage that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to run the platform securely. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics, they will be switched off by default and will load only after you opt in through the cookie banner.
2. Cookies and similar storage
“Cookies” are small files a site can store in your browser. Browsers also offer related mechanisms such as localStorage, which works in a similar way. We group everything we store into two categories: strictly necessary (required for the site to work, always on) and analytics (optional, off unless you opt in — and not in use today).
3. What we store today
| Name / key | Purpose | Type | Category | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Keeps you signed in and maintains your authenticated session (Supabase auth). | localStorage | Strictly necessary | Until sign-out or expiry | First-party |
| iv_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie choices so this notice is not shown again. | localStorage | Strictly necessary | Persistent until cleared | First-party |
| iv_welcome_dismissed_v1 | Remembers that you dismissed the first-run welcome guide. | localStorage | Strictly necessary | Persistent until cleared | First-party |
Our payment processor (Stripe) and hosting (Vercel, Supabase) may set strictly-necessary cookies needed to deliver and secure those services when you interact with them; we do not use them for tracking. We will update the table above if this changes.
4. Analytics (not currently used)
We do not run analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking at this time — there is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party analytics script on the site. Should we introduce privacy-friendly analytics in future, the relevant storage will be listed in the table above, will default to off, and will be loaded only with your consent. You can review or withdraw consent at any time.
5. Managing your choices
When analytics or other non-essential storage is offered, you can accept or reject it through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer, which re-opens the banner. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings; note that clearing strictly-necessary storage will sign you out.
